Maeshowe 3D models

by ECB1966 August 25, 2020 No Comments

I have been doing quite a bit of work trying to get a good large model of Maeshowe, in the end I even managed to get the passageway printed so with a torch you can mimic the winter solstice effect within the model.

One of these models was commissioned and the other one was me having a bit of fun.

The ruler in the photos is 30cms long to give an idea of size. The white models of figures are to scale to give some comparison of sizes. The print time for the big model was 23 days!
